Authenticity in the AI Era

In an ocean of generative imagery, 3D artists need a better way to show that there is a real, coherent work behind the final image.

A 3D artist creates far more than a single picture. Every finished scene contains geometry, depth, materials, lighting, spatial relationships, and countless creative decisions that continue beyond one camera frame. However, when that work is shared as an ordinary image, most of this information is lost.

As generative AI makes convincing images faster and easier to produce, a single final render can no longer communicate the full depth of an artist's work. Viewers may see a beautiful image, but they cannot easily inspect the dimensional structure, craftsmanship, or artistic intent that exists behind it.

A Multi-Angle-Rendered-Imagery "MARI" file brings a connected series of rendered viewpoints together into one interactive media experience. Instead of viewing only one carefully selected frame, the audience can pan, rotate, and examine the work from multiple perspectives.

As the viewpoint changes, viewers can observe the consistency of the scene: silhouettes transform, foreground and background objects move through parallax, hidden surfaces become visible, and materials respond from different directions. The work is no longer represented by one isolated image. It becomes a connected field of visual and spatial information that the audience can actively inspect.

This does not mean that HoloMARI attempts to automatically identify AI-generated images or claim that every element was created manually. Instead, it gives genuine 3D artists a stronger and more transparent way to demonstrate the depth of their work.

Artists can reveal the dimensional evidence behind their creations without distributing their original 3D models, project files, textures, materials, or other valuable source assets. Viewers receive more than a flat preview, while the artist retains control over the underlying work.

Do not merely ask the audience to trust a final image. Give them the freedom to inspect the dimensional work behind it.
