HoloMARI Pilot User Testing

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Before HoloMARI's official release, we are running a pilot user test program to validate performance, stability, and overall workflow. Participants can explore subscription tier features for free in exchange for feedback and recommendations.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• All user tiers are available during the pilot and will reset to the free tier after the test ends.
• The pilot end date is not set in stone and may change at any time. Updates will be posted on Discord.

DATA & STORAGE POLICIES

• Files may be deleted at the end of the pilot program if needed.
• If resources require it, uploaded files may be deleted during the program. Users will be notified via Discord announcements.
• Regardless of tier limits, all users are capped at 7 GB of storage during the pilot (noted on the subscription plans page).

PAYMENTS & TEST MODE

• No one is expected to pay during the pilot. All tiers are free to test.
• Payments are configured with Stripe Test Mode for safe trial runs.
• Use only the test card below. Do not use a personal credit card.

BLENDER ADD-ON & TUTORIALS

Install the Blender add-on to render MARI holographic media files. Currently, only MARI images (JPEG, PNG) can be interpreted and uploaded.

MARI FILE VIEWER

After rendering a MARI file (it should be a .zip by the end), preview it locally in the browser. This works like a media viewer and does not require uploads.

FAQ

Pilot Program FAQ

Q: Something is not working!
A: Please report the problem in our Discord. We will review your issues and provide an appropriate fix. We appreciate your feedback, and your reports help us a lot.
Q: Do I need to pay anything to change my subscription tier?
A: For the duration of the pilot program, no, you are not expected to make payments. Please use the test card mentioned above.
Q: The MARI upload seems to fail or is inconsistent.
A: There could be a few reasons:
1) Is your MARI media file completely rendered with no missing files?
2) Currently, HoloMARI only accepts image-based MARI formats like .jpg.
3) While uploading, please keep the upload session pop-up window open and visible.
Q: The browser crashes when trying to upload a MARI file.
A: It is possible that your MARI image size is too big. Please check: https://holomari.com/info/pages/va_stats
Q: Rendering a MARI image takes too much time / fails midway.
A: Consider utilizing the MultiRender add-on to speed up your render time with added reliability. It is designed to be compatible with the MARI rendering format. You can download the add-on here: https://holomari.com/info/pages/MultiRender
Q: Some features in the shared MARI viewers do not work!
A: Some features may not have been implemented yet (i.e. motion controls), or are still under development. Regardless, feel free to share concerns or suggestions in our Discord page.
Q: What will happen to my account and content after the testing period?
A: Your account will be reset to the Basic tier. Your content may or may not be removed by the end of the program, but we will let you know in advance through Discord.
